Referrals & Community Partnerships
Because Spero Medical cannot provide all of the services and resources that a woman may need, we provide accurate information, referral, and assistance in securing additional and necessary resources.
These referral services include: prenatal health care, maternity housing, nutrition services, housing assistance, adoption information and referral, and education and employment assistance, including services supporting continuation and completion of high school.
In 2025, Spero began a partnership with Pneumacare Health and Wellness. Pneumacare shares office space with Spero, providing clients enrolled in Partnership Health Plan access to comprehensive services, including free transportation to and from all Medi-Cal covered appointments, access to a free food pantry, free laundry services, and free hygiene supply bags (available to those currently unhoused). Spero clients can also benefit from assistance with finding affordable housing and help with finding medical, dental, eye care, mental health and social services.
